  • Where are you based? I am based in Hartfield village on the edge of Ashdown forest. The closest stations are East Grinstead and Gatwick airport.
  • Can I have all my children photographed in one session? Yes, absolutely. During the session I would photography them together and individually.
  • How long is a photo session typically? Sessions normally take between 1 hour and an 1 hour and a half.
  • What type of clothes should we choose for the session? This is the perfect opportunity for your child to wear their favourite party or event outfit. I would suggest clothes that are timeless, preferably without branding or patterns. Each session is different and together we may come up with ideas that will also involve specific clothing.
  • Is there a minimum spend? No, there is no minimum spend.
  • Do you provide any props or accessories? Yes, after we have spoken about your photo session and depending on what we have decided, I will bring props and accessories as appropriate.
  • What is your cancellation policy? I am happy to move your session to another day due to bad weather conditions or illness.
  • What types of sessions are available? What I love most about photographing in the forest is that it is constantly changing and there are so many options available depending on the time of year. Bluebell fields, bright yellow rapeseed fields, purple heather in the bracken.
  • Do you recommend pre-booking? I would certainly recommend pre-booking if you have a certain session in mind. In particular the bluebells or buttercups as they only stay in bloom for only 2 – 3 weeks. In order to provide quality of work, I can only take on 4 projects on in one month, so with certain shoots book early to avoid disappointment.
  • How long do I have to wait before I get to see the gallery? Typically you would be able to see your images between 10 – 14 days which is the time required for selection and editing.
  • Do you sell digital negatives on their own? It would be a shame for the images to remain on a disc or pen-drive which can so easily happen as other priorities present themselves. For this reason I offer a full photographic service from photographing the session to ensuring your prints are of the highest quality. You can also purchase digital negatives in conjunction with your package or product choice.
  • How many images can I expect from a photo session? Between 20 – 30 final images.
  • How are the final images presented? I present the images on a projector in the comfort of your own home, this means you can bring the family together see the images on a big screen. It is during this time that we will choose your favorites and decide on sizes and frames.
  • What types of products are available? I have a selection of mounted prints, framed prints, canvases and acrylic mounted products to choose from.
  • What do I need to do to reserve my photo session? The session fee is required to book your preferred date.
  • How can I check on availability? Send me an email and we can can talk about available dates, ideas about your session and the type of products you are thinking of.
